Early Registration Policy

The need for early registration is determined by a Disability Specialist after documentation is reviewed and intake is completed. Early registration is based on the following needs:

• Physical access needs (e.g. room location, endurance/fatigue factors, etc.)

• Communication access needs (e.g. interpreting and captioning)

• Academic access needs (e.g. course scheduling issues, alternate format, etc.)

• Health-related needs (e.g. medication side effects, medical treatment/intervention issues, etc.)

Early registration status will be reviewed each semester. Prior approval does not ensure continued eligibility.

You should consult with our Disability Specialist concerning any changes in your physical, communication, academic, and/or health-related needs. This consultation should be done early in the semester.
