DID YOU KNOW? CU-Boulder Research and Graduate Education Web Site A redesigned Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research and Graduate School web site, launching at the end of the week, will raise the visibility of CU-Boulder research and graduate education. The new web site will be located at www.colorado.edu/ResearchGradEd and will feature simplified navigation and a cohesive look and feel for the Graduate School and the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research. Colorado Combined Campaign Kicks Off The 2005 Colorado Combined Campaign kicks off today, Tuesday, Oct. 25. Look for packets from your department liaison or in campus mail. The CU-Boulder goal for 2005 is $145,000 and the state campaign theme is "Create a Better Colorado." With over 750 agencies to choose from and convenient monthly payroll deduction, there is no easier way to support charitable causes in Colorado. For more information contact CU-Boulder coordinator Erin Frazier or visit the web site. Visit the New CSERA Web Site The Center for Studies of Ethnicity and Race in America web site is now live. CSERA is located in the ethnic studies department and has a core faculty as well as faculty affiliates from departments in the College of Arts and Sciences, the College of Architecture and Planning, the School of Education, the School of Journalism and Mass Communication, the School of Law, the College of Music and University Libraries. Visit the new CSERA/Ethnic Studies website. Reduced Publication Schedule Inside CU will publish one issue of the newsletter in the months of November, December and January. We will return to our regular schedule in February. FEATURED NEWSLETTER The College of Music publishes its newsletter, "Music from Colorado," twice a year and distributes it to over 5,000 alumni, parents, friends and peer institutions nationwide. |
