Machine Shop Teaches Industrial Skills to Academics
The CU-Boulder Physics Trades Teaching Lab is a unique resource among major universities. By completing one-week, safety-intensive courses in machining and/or welding, students and faculty can gain valuable industrial skills and receive a risk management safety card that provides them access to the lab for as long as they are affiliated with the university. This unique arrangement has empowered students and faculty from all over campus to design and manufacture unique components for a variety of research and creative work. More >>

		CU-Boulder Report Calls for Cleanup of West's Toxic Abandoned Mines Alerting Westerners to the importance of and widespread support for cleaning up abandoned hardrock mines and their legacy of toxic pollution in Western waterways is the main goal of a new report from the University of Colorado at Boulder's Center of the American West.

		CU-Boulder Dean Becomes President of National Association of Schools Of Music Daniel Sher, dean of the University of Colorado at Boulder College of Music, has been named president of the National Association of Schools of Music.
